The rules of Candy Crush Soda Saga are mostly the same as Candy Crush Saga, with some changes. The levels are divided into soda mode with soda bottles, and general mode. In the soda mode level, soda bottles will be dropped by candy machines or randomly, and then filled from the bottom to the top until the soda is completely filled.

In addition, Candy Crush Soda Saga's candy falling direction is not necessarily from top to bottom, some of the candy in the level will fall in other directions, which is the biggest feature of the game and can test the logic of the player's thinking to break the level.

Soda level: a single level, collect the specified number of soda bottles to pass the level.

Ice level: single level, find all the green gummy bears under the ice to pass the level.

Bubble Level: Scroll level, move all bubble bears above the fence to pass the level.

Chocolate level: Single level, eliminate all the black and white chocolates to pass the level.

Honey Level: A page-turning level where you have to find all the orange gummy bears inside the honey to pass the level.

Bubble gum level: single level, eliminate all the bubble gum in double layer and hidden thought type to pass the level.

Jam level: single level, jam spread all over the floor to pass the level.

Difficult level (purple version of karate like): general difficulty.

Super hard level (red version samurai-like): chapter set only one of the most difficult level level, more difficult than the hard level.

Ultimate difficulty (brown version emperor-like): randomly set the ultimate difficulty level that has invisible weaknesses, more difficult than super difficult level.
