Once players enter the game, select an unlocked goat or purchase an unlocked goat character from the main screen. Players control a goat and simulate the goat in the game by causing as much damage as possible. Points are earned by destroying things in style, for example, by doing backflips while headbutting a barrel through a window, the player will earn even more points. As for the goats, even the sky is not a limit for them, as the player may interrupt it and crash the game. Four special goats can be unlocked by collecting golden goat sculptures.

The first unlocks the Ultra High Goat, which can be unlocked after collecting 5 Golden Goat sculptures.

The second unlocks the Feathered Goat, which can be unlocked by collecting 10 Golden Goat Sculptures.

The third unlocks the Giant Goat, which can be unlocked by collecting 20 Golden Goat sculptures.

The fourth unlocks the Goat from the Stars) and the last one requires 30 Golden Goat sculptures.
